Thoughts on using memory wire......

Make a loop at the end of your memory wire project and thread the other end through a fixed object such as your "anchored" coiling gizmo. This will allow you to pull the wire taut and bead without having the wire snap back into position..........as well as smack you in the hand/face/nose etc!!

Florida West Coast Bead Society - Presentation by Judy Levine

On March 1st, Judy Levine (above left) did a wonderful presentation on the history of beads along with an awesome Power Point visual (above right - Judy Levine with Jack Winberg Giving Presentation) Program at the March meeting of the Florida West Coast Bead Society. She also brought a small selection of her gorgeous necklaces, most done with beads from Asia and Africa she has collected in her world travels over many years. At this same meeting, we also had an opportunity to help a young woman in Africa     Jby purchasing from a lovely selection of hand-made African beads.

Searching for New Venue

We are searching for a new venue for our JAC Show. We are on the prowl. Suggestions include conference rooms at hotels/motels like trade shows do, country club conference rooms, church halls etc. Any suggestions? We need good parking, nice surroundings and open minds.
We learned and will try again!

Cancellation of JAC Exhibit and Sale

With regret, we have had to cancel our first exhibit and sale that was to be held on March 18th due to unforeseen complications. We hope to have an announcement in the very near future once we determine when and where we can reschedule our event.
